DoorBell is a video doorbell with built-in AI, a PIR sensor, and app control. It features two-way communication, motion detection, and object recognition. The doorbell allows users to view archived videos and live streams, and speak with visitors near the device.
DoorBell connects to the network via Wi-Fi and can operate independently within a Space. For backup functionality, DoorBell can be connected to a hub via the Jeweller and Wings communication channels. Recorded videos can be stored on an Ajax NVR connected to the same network or via Ajax Cloud Storage with a subscription.
Thanks to its PIR sensor and built-in AI, the device accurately detects motion and recognizes people, animals, and vehicles. The camera features HDR functionality, giving users a clear, high-quality image of indoor activity at all times.
DoorBell works seamlessly because it uses Ajax Cloud to send system events, while Ajax's proprietary JetSparrow technology provides fast peer-to-peer video transmission.
Ajax cameras can control automation devices from the live video stream, including Relay, Socket, LightCore, OutletCore, etc.
DoorBell can be connected to either DC or AC power, allowing existing wiring and power to be reused. The BellKit allows for the connection of a wired mechanical or digital bell.
A chime can also be triggered via the hub's siren if the doorbell is paired with a hub that has a siren added. You can choose between one, two, three, or four short beeps.
