1. What is the difference between a "bullet" and a "dome" camera?

The so-called "bullet" and "dome" cameras owe their names to their shape.

The bullet camera is elongated and is often used in situations where the camera serves a deterrent function and must be conspicuous. Bullet cameras are well-suited for outdoor installation. The "canopy" prevents the glass in front of the lens from getting dirty as quickly.

A dome camera is a round camera with a dome shape. It's often used indoors because it's less obtrusive than a bullet camera.

The difference between the dome and bullet camera is mainly in the shape, the image quality of both is comparable.

2. Basic, Premium or Pro?

The plug and play security camera sets are available in 3 different versions.

The "Basic" security camera set is the entry-level version. It includes a 2-megapixel IP camera, a 3.6mm lens, and infrared night vision.

The "Premium" sets feature two megapixel IP cameras with an adjustable lens and a more powerful infrared illuminator, allowing for crystal-clear images of distant objects, day and night. The NVR recorder in the "Premium" package includes a Power over Ethernet function, which requires just one cable between the recorder and the camera, providing both the video and power.

The most advanced set is the "Pro Security Camera Set." With a 6 or 8 megapixel IP camera, adjustable lens, and infrared range up to 60 meters, it's a true all-rounder.

3. Do I need internet to connect a security camera set?

Connecting and operating a security camera system does n't require an internet connection. However, if you want to watch live footage on your smartphone, an internet connection is required.
