The MotionCam Outdoor wireless motion detector alerts you as soon as a presence is detected on its two passive infrared sensors, using a unique two-step signal analysis algorithm.
Correlation analysis: When MotionCam Outdoor detects motion, the signal waveforms from the two sensors are analyzed and compared in real time. If the waveforms are similar, an alarm is triggered.
Spectrum analysis: If both sensors detect motion, but correlation analysis does not find sufficient similarity, the frequency components in the signals from both sensors are compared.
MotionCam Outdoor uses the Wings radio protocol for two-way communication to send photos and large amounts of data. This protocol is required for the built-in camera for photo verification.
The anti-mask detection system automatically calibrates by analyzing the surrounding environment when the detector is placed on the bracket. If any obstacles are detected, they will be detected and reported.
The installation height of the motion detector is from 0.8 to 1.3 m, it has a range of 15 m and is animal-friendly up to 80 cm high.
